Here's one to keep the great cogs of speculation going over the winter: it is thought that My Bloody Valentine will reform to play at next year's Coachella Festival. A pal of Giovanna's who sits over there spoke to Kevin Shields at the recent JAMC gig at the Royal Festival Hall, and he said that the band were considering getting back together to play that holocaust bit of 'You Made Me Realise' for 15 minutes, thus making everyone sick and blasting the likes of Jack Penate out of our ears.
The latest reports suggest that the Coachella Festival, which acts as a sort of pension fund to tempt old bastard bands out of retirement, are trying to get the band to play at next year's event.
Although there's now an MBV myspace, the band's manager Vinita Joshi said, "there are no confirmed shows at all" at this time.
