Snoop Dogg, and his mates Nate Dogg and Warren G, collectively going by the name 213, have finally finished and are bringing out 'The Hard Way'. The Long Beach trio (213 is the area code) have finally got round to it, and Steve Gottlieb, CEO of TVT Records, who signed the group to his label, is very excited: “These three stars coming together, I don’t think there’s been anything like it since Crosby, Stills, & Nash,” he crowed.
“Over the years we’ve been making good music (individually),” said Nate. “And now we’ve come together to make good music, which is why it’s anticipated.”
'Groupy Luv' will be the first single, and Snoop said of the track “It was just a fun record. It was one of those records that made us smile over and over.”
There will also be contributions from Battlecat, Hi-Tek, and Kanye West.
The group have so far not set any dates but apparently they are going on tour. "How else you gonna get groupie love?" said Nate Dogg.
