STAGE OF THE ART - In and out of Paris and London

Anglo-French relations are at an all time high now that we both have totally lame fascists in power (word), and so to celebrate, Stage of the Art is launching a new musical event on 21st February 2008: it's a collaboration between the ICA London and Palais De Tokyo Paris, linking artists and venues, merging music and art.

The shindigs take place in April, June and July and the project / residency was brought about by a Parisian music production agency - but that's no reason to be suspicious, particularly when the London folk are being treated to renowned multi-instrumentalist Sebastien Tellier, and all we're offering in return is Carl Barat and the Dirty Pretty Things. Well. I'm sure he'll do us proud.

The dates of the events are as follows, and the London show costs about a tenner:

Stage Of The Art 1:

February 21st at the ICA: Sebastien Tellier + Poney Poney

February 22nd at Palais de Tokyo: Carl Barat + special guests

Stage Of The Art 2:

April 18th at Palais de Tokyo

April 19th at the ICA

Stage Of The Art 3:

June 12th at Palais de Tokyo

June 13th at the ICA

Stage Of The Art 4:

July 10th at Palais de Tokyo

July11th at the ICA
