Once in a lifetime opportunity to trade classic riffs with the legend that is GUITAR SHORTY

On 12^th April 2008, pioneering Electric Blues guitarist Guitar Shorty will be inviting Glasgow musicians to pick up their guitars and take part in a one off Jamming Session with him as part of The Bulleit Sessions live event series. 

This is a rare opportunity for guitar aficionados to join musical forces with an artist credited with influencing Jimi Hendrix and boasting session credentials including work with Ray Charles, BB King and Little Richard.

All the above musicians specifically cherry-picked Guitar Shorty for his gob-smacking guitar playing and outlandish stage shows. As indie, rock and R&B continue to reign supreme on today’s top 40 charts, it is important to remember the original pioneers of blues-rock and the influence they have had on these genres. Guitar Shorty is part of the original set who have helped shaped the music we hear and buy today.

Whilst enjoying the jamming session, guests will have the chance to sample a glass of smoky-smooth Bulleit Bourbon served over ice, with cola or ginger ale.

Bring your guitars for a 3pm start.
