Train liking post-rock band iLiKETRAiNS have been caught on the receiving end of a conveniently Italian 'impersonating a police officer' scam.
The police officer impersonators impersonated police officers and stopped iLiKETRAiNS' vehicle (presumably a TRAiN) to do a "routine check". When they noticed the huge bag of steaming cash they swiped it, presumably saying "yoink" or whatever's Italian for that, and buggered off leaving a very upset post-rock band behind them.
They got away with €3,000, which at the time of press release was about £2,500, but is probably now about £3,000. (Ooh, topical.)
To celebrate this incident iLiKETRAiNS will be bringing their presumably unique brand of post-rock back to the UK and going on tour and buying the Daily Mail and never leaving the comfort of this island haven ever ever again, possibly:
