Evening was excellent - as good as the album but no fights!

The incident referred to was a short Irish guy who had his toe trodden on accidentally by my friend from the USa who was dancing. he apologised graciously, but the Irish guy who had drank 5 pints during the support act wouldn't leave it alone. He went completely mental shouting, grabbing and pushing (even producing a gold badge of some description in a wallet pretending to be a 'cop'). This turned out to be an Irish 'Blind ASssociation request for assistance in Brail, not a police ID at all. The guy claimed he was 'half blind' which makes me wonder if he only paid for half a ticket to see half a show. Even after we moved our friend away from this drunken lout, and his own mates were trying to restrain and clam him, he just kept pushing and arguing throughout the remainder of the concert, even following us out of the venue still shouting until he was led discreetly away by the security staff.

I think its important to realise, that our friend was not at fault and it was only because this Irish guy was completely canned, there was any trouble or nuisance. it did not spoil our evening though and we danced through to the end of the show.

As for 'hairy homosexuals' hugging and kissing, I didn't see much of that myself - and I wonder what 'evidence' the writer has to back up his claim that the two guys were indeed homos, who in any event, come in so many different shapes and sizes as do the heteros who were at the concert. sparks have always had a large 'gay' following and more power to them with the backing of the Pink Pound, Dollar, Yen or Euro.
