Playlouder - Music is the Network

I love DJ Khaled. If you don't know, DJ Khaled is that chubby lil' Palestinian DJ who puts together all those epic collaboration records like We Takin Over and So Hood. Dude gets hate cos he's of Arabic decent and shouts "WE THE BEST NIGGA" over all his records, but I don't watch hate just like I don't watch TV. Hating ass fools eat a dick. Khaled puts together brilliant, massive sounding posse cuts and gets them on radio, so people that don't cop mixtapes can hear that vibe, for that alone he gets my cosign.

And with that, I am pleased to report he has a new album coming, titled after his new catchphrase, We Global! Another joyous, celebratory banner beneath which to bang out huge records, like the new single, Out Here Grindin', featuring Akon, AKA Billy Liar,Lil Boosie, Rick Ross, Plies, Young Jeezy, Trick Daddy and Ace Hood. Its produced by The Runners, who Khlaed manages. A true renaissance man!

“Out Here Grindin’is the biggest record in the streets!" shouted Khlaed. "This will be the anthem for ‘08! I do this for the streets!!! WE GLOBAL!!!! This record is for the people!!!”

How can you hate on that enthusiasm?

We Global will feature Kanye West, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Nas, Sean Paul, Busta Rhymes, Flo-Rida, Akon, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy

 and

Trick Daddy

amongst others, and production comes from The Runners, Danja, Nasty, The Incredibles, Cool and Dre and Beat Novacaine.

The record drops on September 16th. I am looking forward to it!
