Playlouder - Music is the Network

Technically, this can sort of count as news because it happened less than ten years ago. I have no idea why my stalk feed is telling me about it now, but if any of you out there ever cared what finger-farming cocaine-hating cheese-making bassist Alex James' favourite books are, or just wanted some kind of cursory evidence that he can read, then check out this Guardian news story from 1999.

I'm as proud as I am perplexed to say I share one of Alex's top ten, and was also "gutted when I found out [Jeanette Winterson] was a lesbian", but unlike Alex James, this was simply because I'm massively homophobic.
