There's a new Streets album around there corner, and after the "look at me I'm famous" shenannigans of their last album, Mike Skinner and his laptop have decided to take the Young Jeezy route back to the top - identifying with the common man.
The video for their new single, Everything Is Borrowed finds Mike with a wife and kid enjoying family life, until a bunch of buggers turn up to reposses their house. Mike calls it "an artistic piece of credit crunch drama". It is actually pretty moving. And the song is pretty good too. Skinner is on something of an existential tip these days.
