Old funny-face has penned another work of fiction for you, his teeming hordes of fans, so revealled NME.com yesterday.

It's the first work of fiction in novel form he's threatened to release since 'When The Ass Saw The Angel', (1989), a book NME described as having "gained cult status among fans," which sounds like a backhanded compliment if ever I heard one. 

Cave's new offering, 'The Death Of Bunny Munro', will be published by Canongate and released around this time next year, which is ages away. 

They describe the book as "a modern Faustus of sorts", which tells the story of a man and his son knocking about the south of England after the death of their respective wife and mother.

Apparently it will shock us.
