The Bungalow Inn in north Somerset unwittingly became host to a neo-nazi rally in honour of ten-years-dead Skrewdriver singer-songwriter Ian Stewart Donaldson.
What was thought to be a moped convention or some such ended up in a heavy metal head-banging nazi flag-waving mini-rally with 800 skinheads from Britain, Germany and Eastern Europe turning up to commemorate the death of the British neo-nazi icon.
"Draped in swastikas, the racist thugs went on a drunken rampage, urinating on cars and threatening violence against terrified residents", reports the Daily Mail.
Sounds mad!
"I was very upset", said Paul Gooding, who owns the pub, and unwittingly rented the premises, including a 150-seat function room and a lovely marquee, to the party.
ISD records, who organised the event, had no comment.
