Playlouder - Music is the Network

LCD Soundsystem, recently made famous by the George Pringle song 'LCD I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down', have announced that they are embarking on an as yet unnamed side project along the theme of classic rock.

James Murphy and Pat Mahoney (LCD) will be joined by friends Scott Wells and Paul Sprangers for the project (or 'band', if you will).

The band was born out of the LCD pair's love for classic rock.

Let's hope it doesn't totally suck, like most side-projects.

"They don't have a name yet," Murphy said. "They have a lot of names that we argue back and forth about. I think they try to come up with the worst names possible just to wind me up."

I vote AOR Sideproject. Or perhaps MOR sideproject.
