Meet Headlights, a US female-fronted five piece who make Yo La Tengo-esque indie pop with echoes of My Bloody Valentine and Phil Spector. Ahead of the release of the ‘Remixes’ on 8th December, Headlights are over in Europe on tour and are also giving away the supremely ghostly remix of ‘Cherry Tulips’.

When you live on the road you make friends quickly. Headlights have spent the past four years touring practically nonstop, logging in over 400 shows since 2004. After their critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Some Racing, Some Stopping’ came out in early 2008 the band started calling on all of their friends from the road to remix their songs. Six months later ‘Remixes’was completed. It features remixes from The Album Leaf, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Son Lux (anticon.), as well as Cale Parks and T.J Lipple of Aloha.
