Well, we'll help the debate by pointing you in the way of the video for new song 'Leaving New York' The song is taken from the Georgian whingers new album 'Around the Sun', out on October 5th. The album is also being promoted using the insidious power of MySpace, which is a bit like Friendster, except more porno and Jeres doesn't look at it ALL DAY. MySpace users will have access to the album from September 21st, the idea being that folk'll pass on REM's page to their friends. MySpace issued the following CorpSpeak statement about the project "We are honored and excited to be the platform for REM’s exclusive release. This partnership with Warner Bros.
