PlayLouder had our snufflers on at In The City last weekend - as you can see from John Robb's round-up - and we're bringing a clutch of the best of the unsigned bands we found to Londinium for the delectation of you lovely folks out there. The bands will play our Singles Club night next Wednesday, September 30 at the Barfly in Camden. Which bands? We hear you cry. The official best of In The City, so it is - we have The Paddingtons!! Tom Vek!!! and Towers of London. The Subways had to pull out due to other commitments, while Fear of Music can't come because their school wouldn't give the young scamps time off. Hey teacher, etc. Fear not, though, as there will be at least one additional band playing on the night - we'll confirm as soon as we know, of course.
