Chart-topping pop sensations Busted are planning to take a break, at a time when rumours are rife they're about to split. Universal are adamant however that Busted will "reconvene in due course" despite the fact Charlie Simpson has said he wants to devote most of his energy to his other band Fightstar.
Punk teenyboppers Busted have had four number ones since they burst onto the scene in 2002 without a drummer.
Matt Jay will probably do some drinking in the interim. We're not sure about James Bourne though. Perhaps he could play a rat. Or he could grow some facial hair and stop looking eight years old.
