US indie types Ween have pulled out of curating next year's All Tomorrow's Parties, PlayLouder isn't all that weepful to report. Ween withdrew because of "personal reasons" and have been replaced by ancient guitar huffers Dinosaur Jr.
Meanwhile, more bands have been announced as playing the two weekends of the United Sounds Of ATP, and it's looking like a corker, with Blood Brothers, Black Mountain, and The Gossip all looking like they're turning up.
The first weekend (May 12th - 14th) runs a bit like this, with Mudhoney picking similarly gruff types including Black Mountain, The Scientists, The Drones, Comets on Fire, David Dondero and the decidedly more artful sound of Fall-alikes The Country Teasers.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs have picked a slavering line-up - Liars, Ex-Models, Blood Brothers, Celebration, TV on The Radio will bring the noise, while walking-lice-farm Devendra Banhart has chosen Espers, Vetiver, and more retiring types.
The second weekend (May 19th - 21st) is currently less populated, with just The Shins, New Pornographers, Sleater Kinney, Dinosaur Jr and The Gossip confirmed thus far.
