PlayLouder headed off to London Bridge yesterday afternoon to check out Sean Paul's first London date is a while, though there was some confusion as to where we were going. In the sky seemed to be helicopters carrying cars around and lo Sean Paul appeared with a harem of scantily clad women and pretended to be flying these helicopters with a remote control, then lots of spoilt-looking stage school kids began dancing about the place in urban attire??? Wha?
Apparently it was all in aid of a relaunch for the Vauxhall Corsa, and Sean Paul was there as the nut on the cream on the cherry on the cake.
Sean Paul's DJ whisked the kids up into a frenzy, but he took too long about it and PlayLouder had to bugger off half way through Sean's set. But the man himself was in sparkling form playing tracks from his album 'The Trinity', and he'll be back in the UK very soon for dates.
