The Sex Pistols have attacked the US Goverment by renaming 'Belsen was a Gas' and calling it 'Bagdad was a Gas' for their comeback tour of the United States. The infamous UK punks, getting on a bit now, were kicking off their tour in North America, playing Fleet Pavilion in Boston. Lydon also pointedly aimed the "no future for you" line from God Save the Queen at the audience, in reference to the fact the US is in recession at the moment.
The Pistols, who are playing with their complete original line-up (Rotten, Glenn Matlock, Steve Jones, Paul Cook) have said they want to finish the 12-date tour and then do a show in Bagdad to show Iraqis the "downside of democracy."
