The Manchester International Festival has picked a corking musical programme for your delectation this year - and best of all a load of it's free! The Unknown Pleasures event will take place at the 5,000 capacity Salford Quays amphitheatre on July 15th.
Taking to the stage will be The Gossip, The Horrors, New Young Pony Club, and The Whip, with plenty more TBC. You can go over to the Festival website here to find out more and get tickets.
As well as the big free bash, the Festival will be running a full bill of gigs you have to pay a few pound for, featuring artists including Nina Nastasia and Jim White, Micah P Hinson, Metronomy, Maps, Final Fantasy, Lightspeed Champion, Findlay Brown, The Noisettes, Bat For Lashes and Kid Harpoon.
