There's been the usual media hoo ha about someone dying at Glastonbury, despite the fact that the mortality rate is pretty mild for a conurbation of its size. Alright, so there aren't that many old people gently shuffling off their mortal coils at the festival, and no cars to squash people, but given that you've got 177,000 people running around turning their livers into sanding blocks and brains into frogspawn, you'd think that a couple more deaths could be expected.
Anyway, Somerset police announced that 24-year-old Neil Clinning collapsed on Saturday. Two women have been arrested in connection with the death, and released on police bail.
At the other end of the spectrum of life, a couple had their one-year-old baby baptised at the festival. Ellison William Osbourne was born to a couple who met at the do five years ago, and was baptised by the local rector.
