The I Count climate change campaign receieved a huge boost at the Glastonbury festival. Although they didn't manage to get the hoped-for 100,000 signatures, the Stop Climate Chaos activists managed to grab 70,000 people, despite the, er, climate chaos on display during the Festival.
The Kooks, Klaxons, Billy Bragg and Arcade Fire all added their names to the cause.
I Count campaing manager Lucy Pearce said, "This year's support for the I Count campaign here at Glastonbury is a fantastic demonstration of support. Huge numbers have demonstrated that there is a growing, irresistible movement of people calling for action on climate change.
"It goes to show, individually we are great but together we are irresistible!"
