Filthy And Furious

Robbie Williams, Basement Jaxx Edwyn Collins and other such music celebs (as well as Clare Grogan and Nigel Havers, apparently) joined members of the Sex Pistols on Tuesday night at the premiere of a new film which follows the rise and fall of the seminal band. 'The Filth and The Fury' opens in the UK on May 12, and includes never-before-seen footage from the band's own archives, including scenes from live performances, rehearsals and recording sessions. The film is directed by Julian Temple, who recently caused controversy by claiming he'd seen a suicide note allegedly written by Sid Vicious, contradicting medical reports that indicated his death in February 1979 was from a heroin overdose. The note also claims he did not kill girlfriend Nancy Spungen, who was found dead in New York's Chelsea hotel with a knife through her stomach in October 1978.
