PlayLouder was in trendy East London last night, stealing wine, scrapping with ex Big Brother baldie Nichola Holt and attempting some kind of coverage.
Norman Cook was "delighted" to receive his Outstanding Contribution Award, telling us: "Great innit? Oh happy me. Plus I'm having a baby." Norman, wearing a shirt with lots of John Lennon heads printed on it posed for photos and signed autographs happily, and stayed right till the end. What drugs was he on? "All of them, haha".
Sophie Ellis Bextor and her green dress celebrated Spiller's Best Single Award by performing 'Groovejet (If This Aint Love)' at the aftershow party, Sophie chattering madly over all the parts that don't require her singing. "We won, yeah yeah yeah!" she gushed. Arthur Baker, PlayLouder's celebrity stalker, wasn't impressed and glared throughout.
The aforementioned Nichola Holt incident occurred earlier in the night, when the bald "artist" trod on our feet and glared at us. Then called us "jealous" for congratulating her on 'The Game''s astonishing number 72 chart success. And she's right, obviously, we are green with envy.
Meanwhile, Everybodyelseintheworldofdance.com (and the twin headed Breakfast DJ monster known as Zoe Ball and Sarah Cox) turned up to drink free booze, then were forced to spend all night queuing for a toilet cubicle when they found out there wasn't any. Said queue stretched right out to the fire exit, and remained healthy all night long.
A special mention must go to Trash blokey Erol Alkan, who didn't win anything, careered around the place shouting at people with an ice bucket on his head, and nicked PlayLouder loads of booze. Well done that man. Anyway, the full results were:
