After loads of speculation (well, it keeps hacks off the streets) it's been announced today that yep, the Sex Pistols are indeed doing a great, big. old, fat, glorious London gig this summer.
This ere went up on the official website www.sex-pistols.net: "Today it is announced that rock n' roll's most controversial band ever the Sex Pistols will bring anarchy back to the UK for a one-off show at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre on 27th July. This will be the only Sex Pistols show anywhere in the world and it promises to be the biggest rock n' roll show of the Jubilee year. The Sex Pistols will perform their classic punk anthems including Pretty Vacant, Anarchy In The UK and of course God Save the Queen. Tickets for this one-off event are priced £32.50 (+ booking fee)." Well, they're worth it. Aren't they? Aren't they? Eh? Yes they are. So shut up.
