They are a very cool band indeed (and check out the bluegrass band Tattersall has got going with Darren Hayman and others) but I just inspected some photos and I'm really not sure about the M&S thing.. I walked in with a voucher from some returned xmas jumper (a hideous thing) and tried on some jeans but the fit was awful. Being anti-over styled emo and nu-rave types and taking it back to casual wear, just letting the music shine through, is definitely cool but M&S? I'm going to spend my vouchers on nice food. That they can do well.

M&S are definitely best at doing food. I don't think I've even looked at their clothing, frankly, I just walk past to get to the orgnaic, free-range, local, phosphate-free, additive-free, cryogenically sealed identical fruit and veg, pre-cut for my convenience

i almost bought a cashmere jumper there in the sales. as a relative gave me M&S tokens. But, they didn't have any dark coloured ones left

waitrose stock some American imports, which makes me happy. Pumpkin puree in a can is handy in any number of situations.

Waitrose stocks wonderful veg and things like varietal peppercorns, which is great. And an amazing array of different beers...

...Personally, I asked for John Lewis vouchers for X***, so that I could indulge my brushed stainless steel fetish in their kitchenware department.
