I just happened to be perusing the NME site and rating away at will whilst simultaneously browsing the groundbreakingly convenient tag function on Playlouder in search of news, and I have to say that I have nothing but respect and admiration for the NME in their environmentally sound and mathematically accurate endeavour to provide these lovely females with a bit of genuine kudos in an industry that's chocked full of meaningless honours and hollow victories. I can't think of a better way to acknowledge the achievements of a female artist in a continually male-dominated medium than by allotting a number to her indicating how much an idle web surfer might want to pork her based on the saved-for-web jpeg chosen at random by the dilligent staff at nme.com. hearty congrats to all.

although, I do advise everyone to go to the 'sexiest male category' and vote everyone as '1' except julian cope, who should, of course, be a '10'

Hasn't Uffie done saucy pics for Zoo Magazine? How utterly tragic. I understand that some people do undesirable things to help their career but Zoo?!
